Student Tickets: Information

LSU Student Athletes and members of the LSU Tiger Band, Cheerleaders, and Golden Girls are ineligible to purchase student season tickets.

LSU Students who are registered full-time for the 2020 Fall Semester, have above a 2.0 GPA, are eligible to request student tickets for the 2020 season. LSU Student Athletes and members of the LSU Tiger Band, Spirit Squads, and Golden Girls are ineligible to request student tickets.

Eligible students can begin placing ticket requests for the 2020 season now until the deadline of Thursday, September 17 at 5pm central.

For the 2020 student tickets will only be offered as individual game tickets. With capacity limits we will try and accommodate interested students with at least 1 game of their choice. Students can fill out their requests by logging into their online account at LSUTix.net.

All student tickets will be reserved seating for the 2020 season as well as meeting socially distant guidelines as set by the CDC and state health officials. Students will receive information regarding the game(s) they will receive as well as information on how to link their tickets together in a later email.

Important for the 2020 Season

Priority consideration for student tickets this year will be given to those students who have had a COVID-19 test completed and reported to the university any time after Aug. 15, 2020. As part of the student ticket request online form (more detail found below), information on how to submit proof of a having a COVID-19 test completed during this fall semester will be available.

LSU offers a number of options for students to test on campus. In partnership with Relief Telemed, there are a number of testing PODs located across campus. Schedule an appointment before arriving at a testing POD. On a mobile device, visit relieftelemed.app.link/lsu and download the app. Please use your lsu.edu email address when creating your account. If you experience any issues, please contact customer support at support@relieftelemed.zohodesk.com or 1-833-964-1469.

In addition, COVID-19 testing is available at the corner of Tower Drive and Free Speech Alley in front of the LSU Student Union and on the south side of the UREC and the sorority houses. Please preregister at doineedacovid19test.com. When prompted, enter LSU’s zip code, 70803. After registration you will receive a voucher. Please print this voucher and present it at the testing site. On-site registration will be available; however, pre-registration allows for express testing.

TICKET ALLOCATIONS

Along with LSU SGA and the Athletic Department an equitable distribution system was set up. Tickets will be allotted to students using both the LSU Student Priority Point Rankings from the 2019 season as well as by classification.

Students will be notified via email with information regarding the game(s) they will be selected for during the 2020 season. Students will be charged the ticket price of the tickets once selections are completed. Upon selections, students will receive information on how to reserve their tickets with friends who may receive tickets for the same game.

During the 2020 season student tickets will not be allowed to be transferred.

STUDENT GUEST TICKETS

In an effort to maximize the number of tickets available to LSU Students, there will be no student guest tickets available for the 2020 season.

PARKING/TAILGATING

All parking lots, including free lots, will require a permit and will open four hours before game time. You will be contacted the week of the game on how you can select a parking permit if you are planning to drive to campus for the game.

Tailgating on campus will not be permitted in 2020 and LSU Athletics is encouraging fans without tickets to enjoy the game from home in order to help minimize the number of people on campus. In order to comply with public health guidelines, tailgating and tailgate setups, including tents, trailers, outdoor cooking, generators and communal food and beverage areas will not be permitted on campus.

STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT

As members of the LSU community, all students are encouraged to promote academic integrity and abide by the behavioral standards outlined in the LSU Code of Student Conduct. It is a violation of the Code to sell your LSU football ticket to a non- student or to sell the ticket for greater than face value. It is also a violation to allow any other person to utilize your LSU issued Tiger Card. If you misuse your Tiger Card, ticket or other University issued document, you will be referred to Student Advocacy and Accountability and may be charged with violations of the Code of Student Conduct.

For those students who have their myLSU account forwarding to a private e-mail address (AOL, Yahoo, etc.), we strongly recommend disabling the forwarding feature. If you choose not to disable the forwarding feature, the LSU Athletics Ticket Office cannot ensure you that you will receive ticket information in a timely manner. If you wish to keep the forwarding feature enabled, please be sure to add tickets@lsu.edu to your safe list.

Full-time LSU students with an overall GPA of 2.0 or greater are admitted for free for regular season men’s and women’s basketball games.

The student gate is located on the upper level of the PMAC, behind the Cox Communications Center.

A limited number of student guest tickets may be available on the day of the game. Guest tickets can be purchased at the PMAC Ticket Office beginning 90 minutes prior to tipoff on the day of the game.

LSU Health Sciences Center, LSU-Alexandria, LSU-Eunice, and LSU-Shreveport students are not eligible for student ticket privileges.

Full-time LSU students with an overall GPA of 2.0 or greater are admitted for free for regular season gymnastics meets. There are a limited number of 100 and 200 level seats available for students. Once full, students must sit in 300 level general admission sections.

The student gate is located on the upper level of the PMAC, behind the Bernie Moore Track & Field Stadium scoreboard.

LSU Health Sciences Center, LSU-Alexandria, LSU-Eunice, and LSU-Shreveport students are not eligible for student ticket privileges.

Full-time LSU students with an overall GPA of 2.0 or greater are admitted for free for regular season baseball games.

Students must swipe their LSU ID at the Alex Box Ticket Office beginning two hours prior to first pitch to receive their game ticket. There are a limited number of reserved seats available for students. Once they have all been distributed, students will receive Standing Room Only tickets.

A limited number of student guest tickets may be available on the day of the game. Guest tickets must be purchased at the Alex Box Ticket Office on the day of the game.

LSU Health Sciences Center, LSU-Alexandria, LSU-Eunice, and LSU-Shreveport students are not eligible for student ticket privileges.

Full-time LSU students with an overall GPA of 2.0 or greater are admitted for free for regular season softball games.

Students can enter by swiping their LSU ID at the centerfield gate at Tiger Park.

LSU Health Sciences Center, LSU-Alexandria, LSU-Eunice, and LSU-Shreveport students are not eligible for student ticket privileges.

Admission to varsity regular-season athletics events not covered on this page are generally free to the public.
